「天虹傘兵」，擔當承先啟後的角色，透過新藝城第五代傳人「遮王」追溯雨傘的起源及無數傘下的故事，讓人們認識製造雨傘的手藝，讓傳統文化得以保育、承傳；更盼望能夠培養人們惜物的態度，做個「負責任的消費者」! 除此之外，為了讓「傘的故事」得以延續，「天虹傘兵」亦肩負「突破」、「解難」的使命，創建「天虹雨傘」，像彩虹般守護有需要的人！
