音樂可以紓解身心的緊張，使人放鬆，恢復幹勁。研究證明玩音樂能促進小朋友的大腦發育，甚至對人格培養和情商能力發展都有正面的影響。 我們希望運用不同廢物或資源創作樂器，既環保，又可發揮創意。自製樂器，才能讓小朋友真正成為音樂的主人！享受自製樂器的過程，享受敲打彈奏樂器的樂趣，更可激發創造音樂，表達自我。 我們將會在計劃後期探訪老人中心，與老人家一起彈奏自製樂器，讓長者也享受音樂的樂趣。
