We are SH4U 
We are a team from VNSAA St Hilary’s Primary School.  We are passionate about making life better in COVID-19. 

The reality is that COVID 19 is not going away very soon, and we will continue to wear masks in the coming future. 
In this epidemic, we need to wear our masks, but when we eat, we have nowhere safe to place our masks. This created a real problem for us, but also for people in their daily lives.

As a team, we got together and identified this need in our community and started to share ideas on how we can solve this problem. We realized that having an extra mask holder is not convenient and we often forget it at home. We wanted to produce an idea that is easy and convenient. This led to our product called Safe Holdings For You. 

Our project is to create a mask holder at the back of your phone, to make it safe and easy to keep your mask secure while you are eating. It is also an extra place to keep a new mask in case your mask breaks, gets dirty or needs a new mask after some sport or exercise.

We hope to get your support to bring our product to the community around us.

Inspiration came from

We realized there is no safe place to keep a mask while you are eating or drinking.

We wanted to create a solution that is easy without having to carry an extra mask holder.

We saw people walking with their masks under their chin and realized we need to solve this problem.

What social problems do you solve?

Our solution to the problem of ‘where to keep your mask safe’ aims to be safe, but also convenient.  During the time Covid-19 has created many social problems, and one of these problems we often see is that people do not have a safe and secure place to keep their masks while they are eating or drinking.  Currently, some people use mask holders or tissues we believe this is inefficient, not very safe, and not convenient. 
Our product makes it easy to always have a safe holding on your phone to keep your mask or a new one.

The resources we needed

We need your help with the following materials to make our product possible.
We aim to use recycled plastic sheets.
Removable double-sided clear tape to stick the holder to your phone.
Velcro or press studs, to close and open the folder.
Logo printing company to assist with adding different logos and themes to our mask holder.
