Inspiration came from
We don't want to spread coronavirus by touching each other. Students and teachers are always touching things and share learning materials.
According to the guideline from EDB, students are not allowed to share materials in VA lesson due to the pandemic. Sometimes, students forgot to bring art materials, and the teacher has to distribute drawing papers to the students. Sharing learning materials causes students and teachers a high risk of spreading the virus.
Design a robot to help the teacher distribute the learning materials. We hope the moving shelf will help the teachers distribute materials and lower the chance of infect COVID-19.
What social problems do you solve?
We can help the teachers and students to keep social distancing by sharing materials through Robot Moving Shelf in the COVID-19 period.
How do we start from 0 to 1
Nothing to protect us > Normal apron > High technology apron that is easy to wear and protect ourselves from coronavirus > a machine that helps us distribute learning materials > Robot arms + Line tracking robot + Microbit = Robot Moving Shelf
Lack of materials:
- Remote control = Microbit Pad
- A strong motor that can carry heavy stuff like drawing papers, glues, and scissors
- A small shelf that is fit to move inside the classroom
- Battery
