Inspiration came from?
Our inspiration came form masks everyone wear, because of the virus that came around recently. We all now wear masks, but there is a problem.
People that are wearing glasses, when they take breath, water vapour blocks their glasses vision. Therefore, we want to help people that have this problem.
What social problems do you solve?
This solution is innovative because this could help everyone that wear glasses. Our current method is not really efficient.
How do we start from 0 to 1?
Our only solution right now is to wear your masks more tightly, or we add something such as tape, tissue paper, cotton ball or even glue stick which are not really environment friendly or long-lasting.
Then, we try to solve the problems in long term. WE hope we can design the glasses that can fit in with the masks we wear. Therefore, we can help those people who need to work outside in hot weather and have no choice.
The challenge we encountered?
The group formed around mid-October with the idea of avoiding mist on glasses while wearing a mask.
We learn about 3D printing and try to make the prototype of glasses designed. We need the 3D printer and materials. Also, we need the knowledge of glasses design.
The resources we needed?
We need the 3D printer, 3D printing materials and learn how to design glasses. We also need some glasses making company to make our dreams come true.
