We want to help the Elderly feel less lonely at home and provide them with some entertainment. We will run 3 different sessions:
- Reading time (weekly newspaper or book selected by the elderly)
- Performance (we will perform a song/dance)
- Chit-chat (a short one on one to talk)
Inspiration came from
Students felt empathy to the elderly as they remembered when they were e-learning and felt lonely and bored at home alone.
What social problems do you solve?
We have focused on UNESCO's sustainability development goal of 'Good Health and Well-Being focusing on the elderly.
The resources we need
We are looking for book donations that would be suitable to read to the elderly. We also need small donations for us to buy up to date newspapers.
