Project Summary
Maker Faire is the Greatest show (and tell) programme on earth. The current Maker Faire is in Tokoyo which is one of the fastest growing cities when it comes to technological advances.
I intend to visit the Tokoyo Maker Faire to broaden my horizons and learn about various inventions happening around the world. I hope to advance my STEAM knowledge and enhance my creativity by looking at projects which will be showcased at the Maker Faire.
Project Details
Our school has STEAM lessons every week where we learn about different scientific principles by doing some hands-on activities and experiments. The STEAM lessons and activities have helped me develop an interest in learning more about various scientific principles and concepts.
I am glad to represent our school and share our curriculum and knowledge learned and learn from other schools about their curriculum. At the same time, we would like to visit various Science and Technology attractions to enhance our knowledge.
I think this is a great opportunity and platform for us to learn from some great inventors from different countries.
Needed Resources and Personnel
Our school is going to organize this tour for us. They have estimated an amount of approximately HK$10,000.00 which includes the airfare, accommodation, meals, insurance, entry tickets, tour guide and other miscellaneous expenses.
