I AM KING
Hello, my name is King, and I'm an eleven-year-old student from 6A. I have a strong interest in learning STEAM and reading English books. I have participated in various STEAM and English competitions, such as General Knowledge and STEM competitions, where I achieved second place in one and two third places. Additionally, I earned third place in a Scrabble competition alongside my teammates and in recitation.
One of my favorite aspects of STEAM is Mathematics. I thoroughly enjoy solving problems and exploring different calculations. Technology is another area that captivates me. I find joy in learning about technologies like iPhones, Androids, and other electronic devices. It fascinates me to research the materials, concepts, and problems involved in building these devices.
I'm looking forward to the opportunity to join the Bett Show UK trip for several reasons. Firstly, I'm eager to immerse myself in the bustling cities and engage in conversations with the residents of the UK. Since I am fond of English, communicating with them will be a natural and delightful experience. I have had a similar experience when I went to Tokyo to participate in the Maker Faire, where I saw models and projects from students around the world. I can't wait to share those interesting and helpful experiences with the people in the UK.
Secondly, I am enthusiastic about sharing the projects and courses from our school with the people in the UK. I aim to showcase our creativity and building skills through effective English communication.
Thirdly, I am always interested in events like the Bett Show. I have researched the Bett Show and discovered that it is an unmatched opportunity for schools to connect with a global community of like-minded individuals, share best practices, and explore innovative teaching methods and technologies. I have also had a similar experience when I was invited to the STEAM and Coding Carnival to showcase our projects to other visitors and students.
Fourth, I hope to share our Chinese culture with students in the UK so that we can understand each other better and more clearly.
Being a part of this trip is an excellent chance for me to learn from the people in the UK, learn more about their culture, and work with my teammates. I am eager to immerse myself in UK culture, expand my knowledge, explore popular tourist destinations, and discover the latest advancements in UK technology and science.
