As Hong Kong is a multi-cultural society, English is a core skill most students take for granted. So we wish to help lower level English students fit into Hong Kong by giving them an opportunity to learn English through fellow peers. This way, our students will be able to reflect upon their own learning through designing their own lesson plans and designing fun activities to spread the joy of learning English.
Inspired by.
This project is highly inspired by the Kids4Kids volunteer project, adapting for primary students to participate in.

SDG04 - Quality Education - Equal Learning opportunity
How do we start from 0 to 1
Students were tasked to find an interesting book top build their lesson around, selecting keywords they would like to teach. They then designed a teaching program to help the learners become more familiar and comfortable in speaking and reading English.
Challenges we encounter
The major challenge of this project was for students to design appropriate and right level to teach English to the lower English levels of learners. Their lesson plans also had to be both are educational as well as fun for younger aged learners to engage with.
Required resources and manpower
Students picked a book, designed posters + fliers to advertise our lesson, and prepared the needed materials for their proposed English lessons.
