Let's Show Kindness!
Inspiration came from
We want Hong Kong to have more kindness, that is why we are called KindUp!
We also want to help poor people. They are people too. They were young kids too.
We think that having an Outdoor Cinema at school is a great way to get parents involved. So we can talk about how we can be more kind.
What social problems do you solve?
Homelessness is a huge problem in Hong Kong.
We are a rich place, so we can do more for our poor people.
During our Outdoor Cinema, we will experience what it is like to be outside. We will sit on cardboard and we will eat some humble food like soup, while we watch some short videos about Kindness.
How do we start from 0 to 1
We decided to help the homeless because they are people that we see everyday and it makes us sad. We want to do something.
The challenge we encountered
We are a young team, but we are motivated to have an event that is a success and that can inspire other people to do it too.
There is a lot of work in holding an event. We need to do a lot of research. We need to talk to a lot of people.
The resources we needed
We need to build a giant screen for our movies.
who are we
We are P.1 and P.2 students from St Hilary's Primary School.
Our team name is KindUp? because we think kindness is a great thing.
We want to show our kindness to people with no home. Who sleep in the tough Hong Kong weather. Who may not feel loved.
We also want to reach the heart of people in Hong Kong, so they will help too.
