Our inspiration
The inspiration for this project came from watching music videos on YouTube that raised money for charity, for example: Band Aid (Do They Know It's Christmas) and USA for Africa (We Are the World). We then discovered the Room to Read charity, which operates in Hong Kong and helps people around the world to learn to read.
Our solutions
Learning to read is one of the most important skills we can have. It allows us to become educated and improve our lives. Without being able to read, people cannot easily escape from poverty. We will produce a charity single and album to raise funds and awareness of the issue of global literacy. If possible, we will hold a concert too.
Our requests
We need to make contacts within the record industry so that we can produce our charity song and album. We may need some investment for the initial production too, plus promotion.
