Inspiration
We want to raise awareness about Gender Equality issues among youths and create a positive learning experience for them to build towards a better future.
What social problems do we solve?
We aim to bring awareness and help to inform the younger generations about Gender Equality and how we can move forward as a society to identify issues impacting both genders and to promote positive thinking on how we can address those issues.
How we get from Zero to One
Our DreamStarter journey began with a group discussion exploring the various issues that came to mind with our students. The class was then divided into smaller groups to continue their discussion and to share their knowledge amongst each other based on their own understanding of the world.
We gathered their ideas and narrowed it down to a few that resonated with them, which then led us to discuss Gender Equality and how it can affect people around the world and gender disparities in Hong Kong.
The challenges we encounter
Given the limited time, experience, and resources we have, we aim to raise awareness about the different types of gender inequalities and how they impact Hong Kong and people all around the world.
The resources we need
We aim to create a booklet to help shed light and bring awareness to the problems faced by both genders in Hong Kong and how we can work to improve them.
We intend to create colorful posters and a booklet that highlight the importance of gender equality and showcase influential women in history.
Who are we?
We are class 4A from St. Hilary's Primary School (Tai Po Campus).
