Our Team
We are students from AOG St. Hilary’s College Primary Section DreamStarter Group 2. Our project name is called ‘The Giving Bunny”.
Our Mission
We noticed that a lot of children in Hong Kong are living under the poverty line don’t have sufficient necessities nor able to receive a lovely toy because they don’t have enough money to buy the toys they like.
That’s why we modified the idea of spreading love to children from Christmas Operation Shoebox where organizations provided gifts wrapped inside a shoebox to children who are in need.
Our Partners
We are partnering with Yau Ma Dei Salvation Army (Integrated service for young people). They provided a venue for our team to spread this Paper Toy Mache to the children in need.
Our Project
The Giving Bunny put toys into a big paper Mache egg, distribute it out to the children under the poverty line, and hope they will feel happy while opening the egg.
The idea of the wrapping is like Kinder Egg Surprise and Smash Cake. The children will not know what the actual toy inside the smash cake is, until they open it at the last minute.
Our Aims
We hope that through this project, we will be able to spread joy, love and care to all the children in Hong Kong especially during the pandemic time.
