香港人口老化問題嚴重，很多長者的家人都工作繁重，未必有時間可以抽空陪伴，有些長者會到長者中心消磨時間，但其實很多長者並不快樂。長者們都曾為社會貢獻過、付出過，他們所得的不應該是「不快樂」的晚年。
